About James
James Marquis is the Chief Information Officer for American Academy of PAs. James has extensive experience providing strategic leadership, tactical guidance and broad technology knowledge across a variety of organizations from small non-profits to large corporations. Over the last fifteen years, James has focused on non-profits, professional societies and trade associations working to achieve operational efficiencies through the strategic use of technology.
James possesses excellent communicator allowing him to function as a trainer, technology evangelist and to bridge the divide which frequently exists between functional business units and information technology specialists. Coupled with his ability to deep-dive into technology, these key skills allow James to operate across department lines and organizational levels to better integrate technology with the strategic and tactical needs of an organization.
