This blog is not the muse of an AMS expert. I repeat, I am not an AMS expert and this blog certainly isn’t a flexing of my muscles on the tiny bit that I know about association management software. This blog is actually more of a journal. It’s my journey though this crazy idea of building ReviewMyAMS.
If you are expecting meaty content on software selection, how to effectively mine your AMS for data, or what to do when your AMS sucks, then you should check out my growing list of AMS consultants that are in our space. These guys and gals know the pitfalls and ideals of the AMS world.
I hope you enjoy reading about the celebrations and nightmares of this project.
UPDATE: I love being my own boss. That means that I can change my mind about things like what this blog (or not-blog) will contain. Through several discussions from several association consultants and peers, it’s been brought to my attention that ReviewMyAMS should also host blog posts from those in the industry. I’m stoked about the pithy, witty, controversial and sometimes rant-like content that is already brewing. Happy reading!
