Millions of associations, regardless of their size, have a common problem. These organizations have valuable information, data that they cannot exploit to its fullest potential. It is common that an association can have between 25 to50 software applications and few of them are connected. Software as a Service (SaaS) has only multiplied the problem. So when it comes to SaaS and on-premise integrations, organizations can spend time on the tradition tight integration (lots of time and money), do batch data dumps (as in no real-time), or not bother at all. Investing in integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) solutions has become a strategic move for progressive organizations. Research indicates iPaaS is favored for its ease of use, fitness for the purpose and time-to-market, and its ability to tie together cloud and on-premise systems (Gartner 2017).
Last week guest speaker Mani Jagadeesan, President & Will Marling, Vice President, Professional Services, ShuffleLabs presented a webinar exploring the challenges created by SaaS, as well as a couple of other interesting emerging solutions.
